The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority for determining all doctrinal truth. In its original writings, it is inspired, infallible, and inerrant.
There is one true God, the Creator of all things, who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is eternal, holy, and worthy of all worship.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the complete sacrifice for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict people of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, and lead them into new spiritual life. He guides, instructs, and empowers believers to live godly lives and to serve faithfully. Humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost. Only through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
Salvation is a gift of God's grace received through faith in Jesus Christ. It is made possible through His death, burial, and resurrection and cannot be earned through good works or human effort.
The Church is the Body of Christ and the community of believers who place their faith in Jesus Christ. The Church exists to worship God, build up believers, and carry the message of the Gospel to the world.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit was given at Pentecost and is available to all believers today. It empowers believers to live boldly and to effectively share the Gospel throughout the earth.
The Holy Spirit manifests Himself through a variety of spiritual gifts to build up the Church, confirm the power of the Gospel, and demonstrate the reality of Christ’s resurrection. Scripture encourages all believers to earnestly desire these gifts. They must always operate in harmony with the Word of God and within the boundaries of Scripture.
Water Baptism:
Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, believers are commanded by Scripture to be baptized in water by full immersion.
The Lord's Supper:
The Lord’s Supper is a sacred time of remembrance when believers partake of the bread and cup in honor of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
Healing of the sick is demonstrated in the life and ministry of Jesus and was included in His commission to the disciples. It is given as a sign that accompanies believers and is a part of the redemptive work of Christ on the cross, as well as one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ will return again to the earth in power and glory as He promised. Believers live with the expectation of His return and the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan.
All people will experience eternal existence. Those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ will live eternally with God, while those who reject Him will be separated from God.
